Cooma North sent a 40 strong contingency of players to the annual Harry Nichols Shield last Friday. This event is a competition between schools on the Monaro, facing off in a round robin of rugby league games.
For the fifth year in a row CNPS took out the shield, being the victorious school in both stages. The stage 2 team were particularly impressive, winning all of their games by considerable margins.
It was fantastic to see Bombala PS sending a team this year and they were a very competitive addition to the stage 3 competition.
Congratulations to all the boys and girls for their great attitude and excellent behaviour representing CNPS on Friday.
